After an hour’s delay, we boarded the aircraft and I’m seated at 1A. Correct… business class. It was my first time ever. As I needed to reschedule my flight from June to April, I was required to pay additional fees and was able to book business class for a relative small extra charge. Immediately checked if it was possible to have business class on the way back, but that was such a big extra amount that I would rather use it for a family holiday.
As soon as I sat down, I was offered a glass of champagne and I needed to select what I would prefer for dinner. Salmon or tenderloin beef. After I provided them with my selection, I started my investigation as this whole business class idea was completely new to me. I will always start by pushing the buttons in order to determine what function it has. Lower the chair, extend the chair so that my legs were supported and even a chair massage! I think I can get used to flying business class. 😊
It was a boring flight with lots of OK-ish movies and great food and service. I really enjoyed that I was able to stretch my legs and have my own space. After 7 hours, the captain informed us that he’s preparing for landing and that the temperature in Toronto was 25 degrees Celsius. Something I was not expecting.
