As mentioned in my last post, I really slept like a baby and woke up around 8am which is perfect as I immediately adapted my biological clock to the Canadian time zone. After a brief shower, and while my host was still a sleep, I started looking for a coffee bar in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a OK-ish cappuccino from Tim Hortons (the Canadian version of Starbucks) I did some e-mailing, chatted with my host and cuddled with the dog. The plan today was to go sight-seeing. As I left my glasses at the restaurant the other night, I already knew what my starting point would be. The first red cross on the right side of the map below. I started at 10am and was back at my Airbnb around 4pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of my time was spent at Sint Lawrence Market<\/a>. Wow! This is like heaven! It is a freh food market and they litterally have everything you can think of from all over the world. Fruit, Meat, Fish, Seeds, Cheese and many, many more! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasting new things like the award-winning and world famous “Peameal Bacon Sand\u00adwich” from Carousel bakery<\/a> or simply great Fish and Chips at Buster’s Sea Cove<\/a>. I ended up at a Fruit and Vegatable stand listening to a passionate owner sharing the advantages of ginger in your day-to-day life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the market I walked back to the Airbnb along the waterside. The sun out, clear skies and the temprature was 25 degrees. I sometimes stopped to enjoy the view, have a drink or simply tosit down and look around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
